Maybe it'll come to West End some day. Then I can go see it. Provided I get back home before then.

I've never actually seen the musical. It felt kinda weird since it's about the Chitauri stuff. I lived through that in New York so idk.

I'm still just glad you're okay. The people here can be a little cranky at the monsters to say the least.

God I know you said you were from New York, but I didn't stop to think about the Chitauri stuff. Or any other stuff that goes down in New York on a regular basis. That's horrible, I'm sorry.

Not your fault or anything. Like, it's just weird to think about sometimes. The chituari being in a musical is bizarre. They weren't mindless or anything, but they worked for Thanos i think??? I was like maybe 11 then, so my memories are foggy in places.

I can't tbh. I try to give the people who live here a wide berth. They deal with enough as is.

Makes me wonder if the musical ever got swamped by those nutters who think Thanos was right. Sitting there in the audience throwing rotten fruit at the Avengers on stage, you know. What a bloody mess that'd be.

Probably. I know people online were tearing it apart last time I saw any news about it. I used to be able to go down to bodegas, or these dumb popup carts and see all this dumb stuff with 'Thanos Was Right' written on it. Nothing is quite as demoralizing as seeing some tourist buy a mug from a street vendor. Thanks, not like I asked to turn into dust or anything you know.

Yeah, I'm surprised they even put up with us. I want them to be safe, but... that'd mean we'd have to just disappear?

People were selling merch to support the Thanos thing? God. Things weren't that bad in London, thankfully. Don't really hear anyone talking about the Blip anymore, these days. We all struggled to get our life back on the rails and that's where it's at now. On those rails, chugging along, until the next big disaster comes along to throw a spanner in the works.

I mean... No other options, I think. Us monsters need to feed, there's no way around it. Not right now, anyway. Wish there was some kind of vegan alternative for monsters. Same nutrients but no actual human product, you know.

Yeah, people in New York get *really* opinionated, and even if it's a gross opinion they stick to it. My aunt got into a yelling match once with a guy who came into F.E.A.S.T wearing a Thanos Was Right shirt and baseball cap. It was... sure a disaster. May knocked him over.

I try to not think about that sometimes cause knowing I have to eat people is super horrifying. I don't wanna be that, but none of us even slightly have a choice.

Absolutely. I think I might be a nephilim now? Jury's still out, but it's the most likely option. It means I'm gonna have to gobble up souls and tbh, in a way that's worse than eating someone's body. Easier on the stomach I reckon, but what'll happen to these people in the afterlife? Do they still get to be judged and find eternal peace, or are their souls just gone?

I always worry- worried about May, but she was always been able to take care of herself.

The whole eating a soul thing is somehow worse?? Would they even go to the afterlife?? Like, their souls don't exist anymore, and isn't that like what makes up a person? If you like eat someone's body they could still go to whatever afterlife they believed in.

I really don't know, I'm afraid. I saw Ammit gobble up souls back home, but I dunno whether they ended up in the afterlife or not. Wasn't really a way for me to check that sort of thing.

I really hope they do. If I end up responsible for ending someone's immortal existence for all eternity, I'm not sure I could take it. That's like a miniature Blip, innit?

About a day before I got here, actually. Maybe you haven't lived up to that point yet? It happened in Egypt, but it must've made the news. Ammit grew to the size of the Great Pyramid of Giza and hundreds of people got their souls pinched before she was stopped.

Don't actually know whether people who weren't avatars to the gods could see her, now that I think about it. I know Khonshu was invisible to everyone but his avatar.

Anyway, since I'm the one doing the eating, maybe I can direct them to the afterlife myself? If I just focus hard enough?
