[Inside the wrapping paper, bundled up nice and neat, is an assortment of knitted ware! A scarf, a pair of typical human hand-shaped mittens and eight tubes that are sort of like leg warmers, except far longer and far thinner. Spider leg warmers, one might say. The whole collection is made with the same fabric and colorscheme.

Steven is watching her closely for her reaction. Please give him approval, Spider Mum.]

I didn't have the time to knit it all myself, so I had it made by someone else. Kinda had to guess the size of your legs, but the fabric stretches a bit so it ought to be alright.

Removing her reading glasses from a pocket, Saint-Germain examines the stitches. ]

Exceptional craft. And these.....

[ They're for her limbs, aren't they? With care taken for how arachne navigate. Bending a shoulder-leg down, she tests a tube for size. Seems workable! ]

[Oooh, seems like she likes them! That's a load off Steven's mind, right there. Not the full load, but... a load.]

I can't take credit for the craft, but... I did pick the color. Does it look good to you?

The utility's more important, but I'm not displeased.

[She likes theeemmm. Mum approval get, and it brings him so much relief. Truly the best Nattensfest gift he could receive, even if he's still holding a wrapped box in his own hands.]

Good! And utility is more important, I s'pose, but they should keep you nice and warm in these nippy winter days. So no worries there, eh?

[ WHEN DID SHE PUT ALL OF THEM ON?! THEY'RE ALL ON NOW. ]

[They're all on and they fit! Steven wins at gifting.]

Oh wow, you look brilliant. I should see if I can have something matching made for Cagliostro, sometime.

She'd enjoy that, most likely.

[ Saint-Germain tests her range of movement. All seems well....

Though her gaze does fall on the present in Steven Grant's hand. ]

[If Cagliostro would enjoy that, he'll definitely have to look into it. A scarf and a headband, maybe. Mittens if there's still fabric to spare after that.

Once he realizes where Saint-Germain's gaze has gone, though, he snaps right back out of that planning with a start.]

Oh! I should... Sorry.

[He starts to unwrap the box, and while he's not as careful with the paper as Saint-Germain was, he does try to make sure not to rip it.]

[ Inside the box is a carved wooden figurine! Saint-Germain found this at Miss Clara's Mistic Emporium, and it made her think of Steven Grant. For while the tag upon it says "harpy", the sculptor decided they wished to create a falcon harpy, complete with full falcon head.....wings spread in regal majesty....

.....Basically, she's bestowed a Horus upon Steven Grant. She trusts he will make and appreciate the allusion. ]

[He does make the allusion! So much so that the tag on it causes him to narrow his eyes for a second. That's no harpy, that's clearly Horus. He takes it out of the box with a careful, gentle hand to admire it from all angles.]

Blimey... Would you look at that! All he's missing is a nice pschent. [He taps the top of the figure's head with his thumb.]

I'm glad the resemblance strikes you, as well.

[ It implies she has done this "gifting" correctly! She saw an item, someone came to mind, she purchased it. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. ]

Oh, it's hard to miss.

[He slips the figurine back into the box for now, careful to lay it down on its wings in such a way that it won't roll.]
