Oooh you got the whole Death Star set back home? That's cool! I'm not really a Star Wars guy myself, but the ship designs are blinding.

If the figure's nice to have, that's really all that matters, isn't it?

It was Ned's, but anytime one of us got a big set, we'd build it together. It was always something we did. We kinda had to rebuild that thing twice, since we dropped it each at least once.

Yeah, I guess so. I need to find a place to put it. [He feels strange having it. The figure just makes Peter miss home, but he doesn't want to lay that on Steven.]

Or a shelf. Can't ever have enough shelves mounted in your room. They're good for just about anything.

A shelf would probably be a better idea. My desk is kind of a disaster. I have a million projects spread out on it.

And snacks, apparently a lot of snacks. I don't remember when I put those there.

Would it help to get an extra snack cupboard? Or would the snacks still spread all over your desk? I don't really know how pooka instincts work. Does having a designated snack area help at all?

Okay, my way of organizing is a little weird. Since the pooka part of my brain wants to bury everything for later.

So after I get snacks, like prepackaged stuff, I kinda hide it under my bed. I ran out of space kinda recently there. So I'm reorganizing, and its taking forever.

I know its super weird, sorry.

Going by the typical scale of 'weird' in this place? It ranks all the way at the bottom, mate. You should've seen some of the organizing I did back home, without any kind of monster brain whatsoever.

Point is, get shelves. You won't regret it.

Right, I'll need to look into shelves. Wouldn't hurt to just have a snack shelf, or a craft shelf. Not like we're moving out of Hill House anytime soon.

I suppose the only way to describe it is "all over the place". But in my defense, I was too knackered to clean up after myself. I'm better about it now.

Don't see why you'd want to move out of there in the first place. It's a gorgeous house, and being outside of Bavan is a bonus. This is where trouble usually hits.

That's good at least. Its kinda hard to like clean stuff when you're buried in stuff or tired. I'm kind of experiencing that now.

I thought about it, after like the Green Goblin incident by the lake. Norman came back himself, but Reira asked him to leave for a while. I wasn't sure what would happen after that.

Need some help tidying up, sometime? I have too much time on my hands anyway.

OK, yeah, that's a good reason. One time only sort of thing, though, hopefully. But we've discussed that before, yeah? Have an emergency plan in place, just in case. Other than that, still a fine place to live.

If I can't get it under control soon, yeah, definitely. I wanna at least try first.

Yeah, hopefully. Its still really great to live, so I'm happy. Even if we're like way from the city. I'm more used to living in New York still.

Got it. I'll come in as reinforcements. Just call for Mr. Knight if you're about to drown in crisps packets and candy bars.

Oh, I feel that one. I've only really lived in London. It's all I knew up 'till Bavan. Don't think either place is as crowded as New York, but I expect London at least is just as loud. And I love the 38-8 building, I know loads of people here, but sometimes I wonder if it'd be nice to move somewhere a bit more quiet.

Just put up the Mr. Knight signal, and you'll appear to smack down my problematic snack piles.

Honestly, the quiet is a little unsettling sometimes. I really wish it was noisier. People live with us, obviously, but when everyone is mostly asleep, you can hear all the nature sounds and its *freaky*.

Norman and Otto really like this, so I'm not saying anything about it.

Can you get one of those white noise machines, maybe? Only instead of rain or whale sounds, you get it to play the noise of a traffic jam.

A white noise machine would be really good honestly. Might help me sleep better.

Only issue is, I'd probably keep everyone else up in the house. Headphones kinda don't work that great for me anymore because of the big droopy rat ears.

White noise machines are pretty customizable with their volume. The ones back home were, anyway.

I tried one for a while to help with the sleeping issues. Which didn't work for obvious reasons, in hindsight. I expect Marc shut that thing off every single night, first chance he got. But the sound never made it to the neighbours either way.

Everyone being monsters means its like, gonna depend on their range of hearing verses mine too? Maybe. If that makes sense anyway.

We're all so different it makes some stuff even weirder.

I reckon Pooka hearing is probably better than most. I don't expect arachne or sims or any monster like that to have better hearing, anyway. You could double check in the Monster Guide.

Probably a good idea. Even if the guide feels like its not that up to date anymore. Still better to try for an answer than give up on a white noise machine immediately.

I know whenever Chiaki finishes collecting stuff, it'll be a lot more detailed in ways the current one isn't.

Yeah, I think so too. Not to knock Spengler's efforts, 'cause he did great work, but the original guide was based on, what, a few months of familiarity with monsters? Maybe a year at most? By now, we've seen so many more different variations and powers and little quirks...

I think the new guide will be great.

It was the big first step we really needed to keep learning. If we didn't have it... I feel like all of us would be struggling a lot more when it comes to figuring out what we are.

Chiaki is going to try out every monster, so, I know she's going to add a lot of stuff to it too.

Honestly? Fact. Makes me wish I could've met Spengler, but... That'd mean he'd have been stuck here for all those extra years between then and now. So that's probably selfish.

I still can't believe Chiaki's going for every single one. That's so wild. I could never.

I get it though. I'd love to ask him some questions, but its selfish. Its the intellectual curiosity makes me want to understand more. Kinda like when Beck and I talk about those thesis papers from Dr. Banner and Mr. Stark.

She's really determined too. I'm proud of her. I'm just also gonna worry every time she changes.

I hope she'll be OK. Feels like everyone deals with monster types differently, so there might be something out there that won't sit well with her at all. But at least the way she's doing it now, she'd only have that form for a month, yeah?
