Yeah, best not to let him know that you know. Definitely not that you heard it from Norman. If he ever does figure out that you know, you can pin the blame on me for it. I've been known to chatter too much for my own good.

Thanks. If it helps any, he's only ever been nice when he's around me. It's like you said back then, he wants to be better. Because that whole Mysterio thing... It just exhausts him when he thinks about it, I think.

I could probably just ask him since he's gonna be like making moon eyes at you or something if all three of us hang out. So it'll be obvious in theory? I've only hung out with you guys separately before.

Yeah, fair. You're someone whose from home, but also not entrenched in the whole dramatic spider-man stuff. Norman and Otto both got in his face when he first got here. Now its kind of eased down to something normal.

Nah, he's pretty good at keeping those moon eyes in check.

I think. Not sure I'd spot anything like that if it were to happen.

Anyway, I expect it'll keep easing down. He's doing well for himself, from what I can tell. Nice and quiet, minding his Ps and his Qs. Unless something like Felfri happens again.

I'll take your word for it. Like I said, I've never hung out with both of you guys at once. I dunno the level you two are at about being lovey dovey.

Everyone kind of got their anger out already for the most part, so, I think its calmer now. Beyond weird stuff like Felfri where everyone kind of loses their minds collectively.

Yeah, we can't really account for all the bonkers incidents like Felfri, can we? But if it happens to just about everyone, at least we'll know he's not really to blame all that much.

The better question was if you wanted challah bread or latkes? Hanukkah is coming up pretty soon. I was gonna make a lot of latkes again.

Wild that the holidays are busy even in a place like this one, right? That Nattensfest has really got us running in circles. I don't think I've ever had to find this many presents for chums.

Do you think it'd be easier if I come round your place instead? I've got a little something for Norman too.

The holidays give everyone a chance to feel kinda normal? Even with everything else going on around us. Even with the whole giant cat threatening people thing. That's a lot more normal in comparison.

Yeah, that might be a better idea. Lemme check with Otto and Norman if we're doing anything for Hill House. Right now, everything is kinda in the air.

Speaking of that dodgy giant cat, did it give you anything nice? It coughed up the scarab compass for me. You know, the one that used to point to Ammit's ushabti. Doesn't really do anything now, but that's for the best, eh? No pointing means no Ammit in this world.

I guess that means its just decorative now, which is maybe nice-? Just hang it up somewhere I guess?

It's dumb, but... it's just a lego figure my friend Ned and I had. It's nice to have though.

Yeah, it's in a display case for now. If it ever starts to float and point somewhere, I'll know shit's about to hit the fan.

So the Lego figure is like a keepsake representing your friendship?

Yeah, tell me if that starts happening, cause that'd be a new horrible addition to everything else.

I guess? I mean... it came with a lego deathstar we were building. Its still back at home right now. Actual home.

It's nice to have, even if I dunno what to think about it.

Oooh you got the whole Death Star set back home? That's cool! I'm not really a Star Wars guy myself, but the ship designs are blinding.

If the figure's nice to have, that's really all that matters, isn't it?

It was Ned's, but anytime one of us got a big set, we'd build it together. It was always something we did. We kinda had to rebuild that thing twice, since we dropped it each at least once.

Yeah, I guess so. I need to find a place to put it. [He feels strange having it. The figure just makes Peter miss home, but he doesn't want to lay that on Steven.]
